Flava House is a hip-hop dance studio based in Sofia, Bulgaria. We were invited to paint the dressing rooms ‒ both for the boys and for the ladies. For the boys room we included the founders of the hip-hop and funk culture: Flavor Flav, Dj Kool Herc, James Brown, Grandmaster Flash and an anonymous graffiti boy.
For the ladies room we chose to draw a typical 70s & 80s girls in their attire for that time ‒ fur coats, cans instead of hair curlers, etc.
