Valentino Fall/Winter 2026 "Interferenze"
Inspired by Valentino’s Fall/Winter 2026 Interferenze show by Alessandro Michele, presented at Rome’s historic Palazzo Barberini beneath Pietro da Cortona’s monumental Baroque fresco, The Triumph of Divine Providence.
For this piece, I wanted to play with the same idea of contrast between structure and freedom. I used Cortona’s fresco as the background and placed the Valentino models against an open sky, recreating a floating effect that echoes the theatrical feeling of the runway while bringing the historical setting into a contemporary fashion world.
Valentino Sprint 2025 Couture
For Alessandro Michele’s first Valentino Couture collection, I wanted to focus on something that often stays out of sight — the people and the work behind each look. I imagined the moments before the show, when the models are being fitted, dressed, and prepared, capturing that feeling of everything happening at once, just minutes before they walk onto the runway.
The collection itself brought together silver sequined armor, dramatic crinoline ballgowns, Tudor ruffs, and Victorian-inspired details. I loved the way Michele treated Valentino’s history as a “living archive,” mixing the house’s incredible craftsmanship with his own theatrical and maximalist style.
